The main unconscious country’s collective patterns
Just recently I was watching some pictures from my travels and suddenly I realized something about all the different countries and cultures of the world. I saw that every country has got some main theme woven inside their collective body, their collective DNA. It seems to belong to the collective consciousness’ conditioning specific to the particular country or culture.
And when we look closely, it becomes obvious that it originated in some part of the country or culture’s history. It was first manifested as a reaction to some kind of fear – a feeling of uncertainty, a feeling of being threatened or overwhelmed, a fear of dying or some similar one. And over time, it grew into a behavioural pattern which became a part of the collective unconscious and is repeating itself endlessly throughout all the history. Or it all could happen vice versa – to which possibility I’m more inclined. That it lay latent in the unconscious all along and it was only the content of the unconscious manifesting throughout the time and space, which eventually became the human history as we know it today… All according to the currents of evolution.
If we are attentive, these patterns are actually quite easily recognizable and visible in all forms of life. We can observe them through many nuances and behavioural mechanisms of the specific cultures. They are being endlessly repeated over and over again. In the fields of sport, business, politics, wars, relationships, families, art, music… Everywhere. It’s only necessary to look back in history or observe what is happening now. To the past football or hockey Championships, Olympics and behaviour of the sportsmen, to all the political games and conflicts, to all the wars of the human history or even all the diverse production of the movie industry.
I only put down a few that I experienced personally. To bring out a little bit of what I saw and I let you find and perceive the rest for yourself. I start with my home country:
Slovakia – “We are fighting and eventually we manage to lead the “match”. But as soon as we are leading, we ease up the attention, distract ourselves with a delusion that we won and then we immediately receive back and eventually lose the match just before the end”. This deeply embedded pattern of Slovakian nature I could see especially in the field of sport. And it is repeating itself over and over for many generations. Sometimes loosening a bit, sometimes strengthening itself. However, if we find a way of how not let ourselves be distracted away from the primal intention, we can go far.
Czech Republic – “We want somebody else to do it for us and we will just manage it. We like to talk very much, but please do not bother us with doing the work”. Unfortunately, life constantly proves us that from the long-term point of view this approach doesn’t work. Moreover, one day we will receive all back. For we will always receive exactly what we are giving. It’s just a question of time… However, if we manage to overcome our self-flattery and remember who we are, we can easily stand alone and with our head held high in front of anybody.
Romania – “Deep down, we know that something is rotten in the state of Denmark” as Hamlet pointed out accurately. And we know that one day we will have to do the work. Perhaps we would also like to start. But before we start, we perceive a huge mountain in front of us. And so we don’t even start. We rather choose the “golden fairy-tale” in order not to do anything about it. And if not the golden one, then we choose the religious or “spiritual fairy-tale”. However, if we manage to overcome our inertia & indifference, move in small steps, do only what is necessary and endure, one day we may find ourselves “sitting on the Decebal’s horse, with the Dacian’s Draco speared on our lance and ready for Romans”.
Germany – “We start with a lot of enthusiasm and a big ego. We want to overpower and conquer everybody all over the world and we believe we are here to establish the law. In the end, we eventually lose because before we started we didn’t realize the power of collective when it’s threatened. And this power of collective will one day surprise us from behind our back”. Never underestimate the strength of the groups. Step forth, but learn how to surrender. If we learn how to surrender, a good fortune will find us one day.
The USA – “We think we already won before the fight has even started. And so we come into the battlefield with a pompous, selfish attitude and a lot of arrogance. After a few moments, we actually wake up from our illusion. Then we lead a long and lasting fight against all and everybody for the sake of “fake” freedom (behind which is nothing but our own selfish interest). Eventually we maybe even win the fight. But little do we realize that we have actually lost the battle… For we will only find it much later. And it all happens because we have long forgotten our primal intent – to free ourselves by unifying all the split parts of the oneness”. But if we, at some point in the future, will finally give up our pride and a deep unconscious urge to dominate the world, who knows what we are capable of…
Russia – “Our true strength is in the oneness. Unfortunately, we start the fight very often internally cleaved – aiming each for our own interests and we struggle. Eventually, if we persevere and manage to give up our own selfish individual ways and become one again, we are invincible”. Exactly like the legendary Russian bear… As far as I can remember, when it comes to any multinational political conflicts and wars of the human history, where Russia was involved, at the very end and after all the drama exhausted itself, everybody walked away with “downcast ears”. Whatever tactics might or might not be involved from both sides. And the only way to “defeat” the bear is to integrate it. Which means unconditional acceptance of our nature. Then, and only then, the whole world can benefit from our enormous strength.
Great Britain – “We are all so very important Gentlemen & Ladies, very deeply drown in our ancestral aristocratic morality and dutiful manners (under which there is a huge amount of unlived desires & emotions hidden and sophisticatedly oppressed). And we think, that we were born to administer, colonize and conquer the whole world. We even tried in the past. But we didn’t calculate with life’s consequences of plundering the rest of the world and enforcing our agendas upon them”. You probably wouldn’t find another culture in the whole world, which would be trapped so much in its pride & prejudice. What we didn’t calculate with is the fact that as a consequence, we will be plundered, very deeply. And to liberate ourselves and gain our power back, we will have to let go of all our pride & prejudice and receive humbly whatever will be given. But if we decide to gracefully receive what will be given, we have the potential to lead what is about to come.
France – “We are very proud of ourselves, almost overweening. A bit dishonest, for we eat snails too and we had also tried the ‘English game’ of world’s colonization. In small. We are quite sensitive and thus easily emotionally manipulated by others. Especially by those, who like to take advantage of our vulnerability. Once upon a time, we set our vision to an honourable goal, that of ‘Freedom, equality and brotherhood’. But it seems it was just a lot of enthusiasm behind an inner emotional turmoil – which gave rise to a strange pattern of revolutions and rebellion for a very long time. And that is coming all back to us right now… It seems that we have a bit of everything, we just don’t know what to do about it yet. And so we are ‘seeking around a bit’. Ooooh, but what a great light lies dormant within us. Only if we realize that the reaction doesn’t lead anywhere and that it only stirs up a counter-effect. That the only solution is a response. And if we will kick off a far more powerful process – that of the inner revolution, we have the potential to lead something extraordinary. The forking of the human species. Instead of only unconsciously ‘forking’ our famous cuisine. But only a powerful couple can lead such a process. Or perhaps a powerful woman, hidden behind a man in power?
Canada – “We are entering each and every battle with a huge arrogance and aggressiveness involved. Accompanied by our deep behavioural pattern to belittle the opponent. By following this attitude we usually lose. However, if we manage to transcend our arrogance and direct the energy of the aggressiveness in a healthier and meaningful way – into the fight for a purpose worth fighting for, we become very strong”. Normally, we’re not showing up a lot. And we spend a lot of time in nature and wandering in one of the last huge wildernesses on this planet. Avoiding crowds a little bit and playing the hunters of the beasty animals. For underneath our agressiveness we are hiding a tremendous sensitivity to all the living creatures. But if we manage to integrate this gift of nature and come back into human society, ooh, one may hardly imagine what miracles are we capable of.
Italy – “Whatever we do in life or whichever decision we take, we always have to ask Mama for agreement before we act. It’s always Mama who decides for us or on behalf of us. Unfortunately, by following this pattern we forever remain small spoiled children, completely identified with our mother, without personal integrity and above all for the price of losing ourselves”. However, if we find a way of how to discern between what belongs to Mama and what belongs to us – and we begin to act based on this knowing of who we are, one day we will step into our true power and find what does the word “freedom” really stands for.
Venezuela – “We are under huge repression of a few, suffering deeply. But we lack the courage and above all, we don’t realize that if we come together as a unity, we can put down the repressor very easily…” To me, this is, without any judgement, one of the strongest patterns which are a direct manifestation of a lack of awareness and clarity due to extreme oppression. And the only way out of the misery is probably to wait until the suffering becomes so unbearable that the imaginative “bomb inside” will explode by itself. And what will one day come out of the transmuted content of explosion, can teach us all a lot. For example the difference between ‘making a living out of our lives’ and ‘letting life to create living out of us’. Or maybe we will start to believe in “angels falling down from heaven and taking us out of hell” again.
China – “We are so deeply embedded in our collective nature and ancestral conditioning that it seems to be almost impossible to liberate ourselves from our unconscious beliefs and find our own unique way. But our true strength lies in a patient fiddling work, perseverance and sacrifice of our selfishness for the good of oneness. Our way is the way of invisible labour towards the honourable goal in the future. Only a few choose this way but their success usually surprises the others at the end”. It’s not an ordinary way towards the goal but there lies great wisdom behind the ancient Chinese culture, which eventually leads to victory. And this type of winner takes it all.
Croatia – “We are playing victims of our own faith and hiding a great urge for revenge inside. We cannot forgive the others and above all, ourselves. There is a huge rage hidden inside and therefore we effectively (and unconsciously) keep ourselves in the self-imposed cage of the past which is cutting us off our true power. But if we find a way of how to utilize this extremely powerful energy held inside us in a different, healthier way beneficial for the others, we become unbeatable and maybe even famous”.
Slovenia – “We have it all. Mountains, rivers, caves, beautiful architecture and even the sea. And so we blindly believe that we are independent and free. But it seems that we didn’t really understand the point… Because at the same time we don’t want to see and accept the past, which in turn is cutting us off the roots”. It’s a way of youthful folly, which one day will be brought back to earth along with far-reaching consequences. And this lesson will come to teach us that there is no such thing as outer freedom. That outer freedom is nothing but an illusion. However, if we graciously receive this lesson and deal with the consequences of our youthful blindness, we may step onto a path which will eventually lead us towards true freedom and independence.
Greece – “We are still deeply drowning in the ancient myths. We unconsciously believe that we are the sinners and we have to suffer. Or that we are the pantheon of Gods on the other side and that everybody around is here to please us, to pray to us and make sacrifices for us”. It’s an ancient game of superiority and inferiority. Unfortunately, by following this ancestral pattern, we remain completely and rigidly identified with our past which we are not able to discern from what is here now. Unable to grow, evolve or move from the place at all. We simply remain frozen in fear, unconsciousness and in the slavery of those who like to take advantage of our victimhood. However, if perchance we begin to see that we are not who we believed we are – then we can step onto a journey of eventually realizing who we truly are. If we will one day, then we may teach the world what is the real power hidden behind the statue of Pallas Athena.
Mexico – “We cannot let go of the past and we have lost trust. We cannot forgive what happened a long time ago and how we have been cheated on. We are Mexicans and all the foreigners are enemies who came here to annihilate and subdue us. So we have to do anything and everything to protect ourselves and eventually, we won’t hesitate even to kill if we feel threatened again. It especially applies to gringos (white men)”. If we won’t find a strength inside to forgive the past, we will never be able to find inner peace. But if we finally see, that the hostility and hatefulness don’t lead anywhere and we will eventually find a way of how to forgive, we may be able to leave the past where it belongs to – in the past. Sacrifice towards the better future for our children could possibly be a way out.
Guatemala – “We are very poor and we unconsciously believe that we are victims of life and the circumstances we live in. And so we feel entitled to take whatever we want from the others. Even under the price of jeopardizing, threatening or killing the other”. Of course, the consequences are rather devastating and lead to even deeper poverty. But little do we realize that our poverty is just a reflection of our dishonesty, while inside we hold hidden “golden treasures”. And so if we find the way to our own roots and ancient wisdom, we can’t even imagine what miracles are we capable of.
Belize – “We are Rasta men, Ya Man! Peace for everyone! Let’s have a joint…” We unconsciously believe in and invocating the fake freedom-hood and pretending that this is the way to get anywhere at all. However, deep down we are hiding a tremendous amount of rage and indifference to all and everything. We don’t realize that what we believe in we can also call “an infinite youthfulness”, a never-ending unconscious fight against all and everything for no reason. Behind lies just our inability to accept the progress of evolution. Unfortunately for the price of identification with our animal nature and deep oppression of our true vitality and aliveness. In truth, we are constantly loosing and following the ever descending downward spiral into lower and lower frequencies. As one of my dear fellows Michael Brown says about this pattern: “The way out is through!”
Japan – “We believe we are not good enough as we have been taught this for generations. Moreover, we are oppressing our natural sexuality very deeply. So much that we unconsciously learnt to abuse our sexuality as a means to escape our suffering and numb our bodies completely. Not to feel anything. Which serves to camouflage a tremendous fear of death we are hiding inside and resulting in severe complicated psychological states, deviations and a lot of other mental health delusions and issues. To avoid facing it, we enclosed ourselves in front of others and locked out in the ‘technological space’ of our minds. Such deeply that we now have a real problem to get out of there. We became addicted to our thinking and dreaming world”. But if we, somehow, will manage to enliven our senses, ground back into our bodies, start to feel and get access to our ancestral heritage and roots, we can teach the whole rest of the world a lot. For example, the lost and so much missing art of presence, a willingness to sacrifice ourselves for the good of a greater ideal, but also tremendous perseverance, self-discipline, honour and patience.
Israel – “We believe that we are better than the others. That we are ‘the chosen ones’. We don’t like to share with others and we feel entitled to ‘own’ – a space or a piece of land wherever we come. That we are ‘keepers of the truth’, which are here to manage the world. Thus everybody should treat us according to this! Moreover, we feel that everybody around just want to threaten and harm us. We are so very poor victims of all the rest of the world, our faith, the Life itself and of all the Universe. Especially of Egyptians, Muslims and Arabian people. And we have to protect ourselves carefully. Not so rarely by threatening others – preventively. And if we won’t protect ourselves through violence, then by isolating ourselves from others.” Hate begets only more hate. And the only remedy (I know) for hate is unconditional love. Which requires utter acceptance and forgiveness. Towards all and everything from the past and present. It’s the only way out of the self-imposed isolation and victimhood. For one day we will have to understand that the whole world around us is nothing but our own mirror. And our biggest lesson in life is to destroy our pride, arrogance and sense of superiority. In order to become the real leaders one day. For it’s we who have to guide the others out of the darkness. But we can only guide the others out of the darkness when we succeed to transmute our darkness into light. As the true leaders guide through example, not through force, manipulation and out of fear hidden behind hatred. And when we will finally one day understand this simple truth, we have all chances to also understand Moses and his actions while bringing his people out of the Egyptian’s slavery. Along with realizing that his person, as well as all his acts, has nothing to do with religion whatsoever…
As we can see, all of these patterns have one common underlying, unconscious approach. That of victimization. We are all playing victims of our fate, of life, of our current circumstances, of our desires and wishes. Unfortunately, there’s no bottom to the well of this “victim play”. There’s no hope or resolution in endlessly and blindly following these patterns. Nobody will ever do “the work” for us or instead of us. Our destiny (or karma if you want) will catch up each of us one day.
There’s nowhere to go, hide or escape. And there’s nothing to do. Doing has always lied between us and the resolution. At some point, we will inevitably have to integrate these patterns of ancestral conditioning. Slowly, step by step. Individually, as well as collectively. And if you look very closely, it becomes clear that we all carry each of these patterns inside. As those are collective patterns. The specific aspects of the collective unconscious manifesting out through specific countries, cultures or individuals. If you are familiar with the Chinese I-ting (or any other archetypal teaching), you might also recognize specific archetypes playing its role through specific countries. Which together form a beautiful diversity and richness of humanity. Individually as well as collectively.
Looking closely again it becomes obvious that the only way out of this ancestral heritage of humanity leads through the utilization of the stacked energy held in our bodies for aeons – be it aggression, anger, rage, urge to kill, rigidity, force, arrogance or whichever else – in a healthier and meaningful way. Which have to be useful for the humanity and the others, instead of ourselves only. And eventually, integrating it.
Well, as one deceased musician used to sing, one day there will be no countries. But it will take some time until we will “Imagine, there’s no heaven…” and realize that the human body is all there is…
