The “nature lovers” and their Moms
I felt a profound urge to go into nature a few days ago. Just to get out from the business of the town a little bit, stretch the body and take a rest from the crowds. Don’t get me wrong. It is not anything special to me. I love nature. I spent a major part of my life in nature. Wandering, hiking, mountaineering, climbing, paddling the wild rivers, lakes and seas. From my early childhood. My father drew me there. I will never forget the moments when he was carrying me into mountains in the seat on his back when I couldn’t even walk yet.
But this time it was special to me…
The insight I received there and the realization that followed was particularly difficult and profound for me. As I spent so much of my lifetime in mountains, jungles and around the water in all forms. Nature and all the living ecosystem of Gaia means so much to me and my relationship with Mother Nature is very deep. She used to be my safety, my soul mate and asylum, the place where I came to rest whenever I was overwhelmed. And I say the following from the current point of my highest clarity. But I could see this with clarity only after I went through a countless of experiences and insights, which eventually led me to this realization. And of course, this one is also just a part of something wider, which will come later. In its own time and pace.
“The nature lovers are exactly people who had mothers that were constantly emotionally manipulating them. Through their vulnerable desire nature – for the sake of making them emotionally co-dependent on the mother. In order for mothers not having to face their own aloneness. Thus unconsciously making hostages from their children”
And whether this ancestral pattern still plays its game through our physical mother, our wife, sexual partner, a friend, client or a job’s colleague is irrelevant. For until we integrate the charge which keeps the pattern in place, we will forever remain its slaves.
Moreover, these people are running into nature in front of their suffering. As most of them are, in their emotional nature, very sensitive and it is easier to escape the suffering away from people. Many times, if they are extremely sensitive, their unconscious patterns are even leading them into complete isolation. What, during the childhood and adolescent ages, had a profound and essential purpose. The same as the pattern and the emotional manipulation itself. However, when we become adults these patterns only serve our self-destruction intentions.
In this context, I found the Italian imprint even more interesting, particularly to people who deeply drown to this country – in whatever direction. Work, holidays, partnerships, place of living or a favourite restaurant for example. For behind lies nothing but an unconscious urge for its integration. And when we look closer, we would find out that not only each country has got a certain “main topic” hidden beneath, but also each person, each town or city, each company, each service,…
I call this main topic an energetical potential, which eventually wants to be unravelled.
This insight happened to me unwittingly in Brasov, a beautiful medieval town in Transylvania. While I’m not a great expert of local conditions, I’ll bet that there live and travel a lot of Italians in Brasov (and Romania generally). And that a lot of Romanians travel to or work in Italy. When we look from a “big picture” point of view, we must eventually realize that Life draws them in. Life draws particular energies together. Maybe to enable locals to integrate the Italian imprint. And vice versa. The real implications and hidden meaning of globalization we will only understand much later…
What I’m trying to point out is that at some point we need to understand that we do not create or lead our lives. It is Life which is living us, leading us, moving with us and through us and making decisions for us. And all we can do, to not interfere, is to get out of the way…
Our “Mama” will never let us go by herself… It’s we who have to escape her endless traps and tricks of how to keep us in a co-dependent relationship. Because she will never face her aloneness from her initiative. It’s we who have to stop playing the game of victimization and pretending that we are still small children, which are being manipulated by Mama. It’s we who have to liberate ourselves from her “captivity” or forces representing and playing her role.
It’s we who have to steal the well-known golden key from below of Mama’s pillow. And she will not like it at all. But I heard that if we succeed, she will be very proud of us. Her role in this story is innocent. She only keeps the key until we realize who or what we are. And until we do, she has no other choice but to keep the key hidden from us.
Nobody can do it for us. Nobody else can do “the work”. We have to integrate the attachments. But we cannot integrate from the point of unconsciousness. For only “I am” can integrate. Only “I am” can lead and liberate us from the attachments of our past. Because every act, every thought and every deed carried out from the shadow consciousness only harms us, our environment and the Whole again and again.
And it won’t happen within a day or two and by any kind of doings. We actually cannot do anything. And at the same time, we have to do everything. For unless we put our devotion – the desire to escape our suffering before anything else in the whole Universe, we won’t succeed.
We will have to risk it all for the sake of love. As the desire to find and re-connect with our Source is the ultimate desire of all…
And there is great news! The other side of the coin is, that the “nature lovers” are at the same time people, who have the greatest potential to become independent or even liberate themselves one day. If they choose to face themselves and follow the path into their heart. Which will eventually lead them through many small or bigger life changes and show them the real meaning behind their close relationship to Mother Nature.
As Albert Einstein mysteriously pointed out: “Look deep into nature and then you will understand everything better”
For behind each word, each voice, each vibration, form or symbol there is a hidden meaning. And it is the living understanding of this meaning which makes them either cancerous or a blessing. If we are unaware of the true meaning behind, anything can become cancerous. But if we, through our experience, realize what lies behind, life slowly becomes lighter, happier or even a heavenly blessing…
