The story of Betrayals
Just a few weeks ago, I was walking down the street in an old mining town I stayed at that moment and for some reason, I entered one of the arcades with a few small shops and some residences. I looked around and I suddenly saw a statue hanging on the wall. It took my attention and so I came closer and I found an iron statue of something that resembled to a “beast of prey”, a prehistoric reptile or dragon holding the time, and a short message underneath:
“In the year of the Lord 2010, from 300kg of iron two Jan’s had made me and from that time I protect these houses”
I stood there mesmerized and it took my breath away.
In 2010, I left my decent IT job for the first time and I went into the Canadian wilderness of British Columbia for some unknown but very strong reason. At least unconsciously it was a powerful push, totally out of my then comfort zone. Well, it took another 11years and a lot of unnecessary and unexpected suffering to get and understand the message. But perhaps it was (is) required, I heard myself saying. Albeit not really in the suitable form. But really?
Today, I know much more and if nothing else, at least a few wise men of whom one I heard saying not a long time ago something very important to me and all the others. He said that impatience leads to vast problems in the world. And he was certainly right. I got it deeply enough today. Perhaps deeper than was necessary. But again, it could’ve possibly been quite simply required.
To be continued…
